Learn to Knit in the Round: BABY HAT!
(one, 2 hour session): $40 (yarn and needles included)
Make a cute baby hat while learning how to knit in the round. If you want to knit socks, sleeves, hats, mittens, etc this is a must-have skill! You will learn how to use double pointed needles. tips on how to knit in the round and the Magic Loop Technique.

Drop Stitch Scarf! (one, 2 hour session) $25
Are you bored of knitting scarves but not quite ready for anything too scary? In this class you will learn 2 different easy-peasy drop stitch patterns. Come by the store to see the sample scarves we will be learning in the class.

Basic Lace Scarf (1 part/2 hours): $30 plus material
Learn how easy it is to make a beautiful, Unwind original, lace scarf or shawl. Use one skein of hand-dyed Sea Silk or even Fleece Artist’s Merino Sock kit for the most original results.

Baby Surprise Jacket (2, 2hour sessions): $35 (plus materials)
This surprising jacket from Elizabeth Zimmerman is remarkable. You knit it in a weird flap, sew up two seams and create the sweetest little baby sweater that's totally reversible, with no ill-fitting arm hole or side seams. And no breaking off or joining wool! Amazing. Come into the shop to check out the samples we have knit up....and pick whatever yarn you like to make your own unique creation!

Adult Sweater (4, 2 hour sessions): $65 (plus materials)
Learn how to make this gorgeous cardi called the Central Park Hoodie. You will learn the following:
- gauge and fit
- pattern reading and support
- shaping
- finishing/mattress stitch
- picking up stitches/adding trim
- creating a hood
- button holes
- cables
- washing and blocking
Skills Required: Learn to Knit part 1 and 2 or equivalent, beginner knowledge of cables helpful. This is an advanced beginner class.
Tuesday Nov 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th, Dec 2nd and 9th 7-9pm
Clapotis Shawl (2, 2 hour sessions) $30 plus 2 balls of sock weight yarn
You'll have a great time with this one--you drop stitches ON PURPOSE!! Learn how to increase, decrease, knit on the bias, read a pattern, use stitch market, tbl, dropping stitches. In the end you'll have a light and lively shawl!!

Lefty Learns to Knit (one, 2 hour session): $25 (practice yarn and needles included)
Have you always wanted to learn to knit, but been told that you couldn't because you were left-handed? Have you tried to learn but just couldn't do it the "right" way? Well, fear no more! Come and join us as we learn to knit the lefty way! You'll learn how to cast-on, knit, purl and cast-off in whichever way makes you feel most comfortable. We'll also briefly discuss other forms of left-handed knitting, including how to read a pattern and chart, which stitches need to be switched to get the look you're going for, left-handed knitting resources and many other amazing knitting techniques. You'll be stitching up a lefty-storm in no time.

Learn to Crochet (2, 2 hour sessions): $50 inc. materials
Learn the basics of crochet in these sessions—chain stitch, single and double crochet, how to read a pattern, the anatomy of the crochet stitch. Price includes cotton for the dishcloth and crochet hook.
