Some thoughts on customer service….to my customers and friends.
”The single most important thing to remember about any enterprise is that there are no results inside its walls. The result of a business is a satisfied customer.”
- Peter Drucker
”To my customer. I may not have the answer, but I’ll find it.
I may not have the time, but I’ll make it.”
- Unknown
”Every great business is built on friendship.”
- JC Penney
Customer service is SO important to me.
I make every effort, everyday to make your shopping experience a pleasure. I want you to have fun in my store, feel comfortable and enjoy your stay. As a small business owner I insist that the women who work with me have the same priority. If we make a mistake, we’ll make it right, and then we’ll make it better.
We will always make time for questions about your projects—that’s why we’re here! That’s our job. It doesn’t matter where you bought your yarn. We’ll help you get unstuck and back on the right knitting path. Don’t stay frustrated—come in and share your frustration! No need to suffer alone.
Also, I am always open to feedback. If you have suggestions, I want to hear them. If you have complaints, I need to hear them. Please don’t hesitate to talk to me about ‘our’ yarn shop. I’m here because of you. How can I make things better?
AND, we’re always open for visits. Bring your project, come by, sit, knit and relax.
Enjoy yourself in the knitting community you belong to.
Thanks for reading…

And onto the serious matter of NEW YARN! This beautiful hand-dyed cotton, called Linares, is sheen-y (is that a word?) and soft. And the colours are amazing. Looks like silk to me.

And Silk Garden sock yarn has arrived from the ever popular Noro brand

It’s warm out!! Sort of. Enjoy the spring-i-ness of the day—stop by for a visit this weekend!

Okay, okay, I know I told you in the last email that spring is springing, but as I sit here and write this, well, it’s SNOWING! But I promise, it's on its way. Know how I know? We just got another shipment of the new spring Debbie Bliss magazine in.

AND, the spring issue of Knit Simple. See? Told you!
It may be spring, but you still need to cover those tootsies, and guess what we’ve got for you? Yep. A huge shipment of sock yarn. We have Austermann Step Classic, in a rainbow of solid colours:

Only $15. This is the yarn with the Jojoba and Aloe infused into the wool.
We also have Austermann Step 6, a DK-weight sock yarn that comes in a 150 gram, 375 metre ball! They come in 4 beautiful, self-striping shades. Here are pics of the lovely colours we have in: $25.

And this beautifully soft Noro-like sock yarn called Poems. $20

As well as a self striping sock yarn with chestnut oil in the wool to moisturize and pamper your feet. The colours and self striping patterns of this yarn are amazing!

See you soon!

Spring is springing, don’t you think? Can’t you smell it in the air? Well, in celebration of warmer weather, we’ve gotten in many, many new yarns for you. Really, we’ve spent an entire day unpacking!
Sprout, from Classic Elite Yarns, is a lovely, bulky-weight organic cotton that comes in beautiful colours. It’s soft to the touch and knits up lickity-split!

Keeping with the be-good-to-the-earth theme, we’ve gotten in Araucania Ruca, a silky soft yarn made from, of all things, sugarcane! It’s a variegated, DK-weight yarn, and we have it in 6 gorgeous pastel colourways. This yarn has a silk-like sheen to it, and feels much like bamboo in the hand.

Another beautiful cotton is True Denim, from Diamond’s Luxury Collection. This is a worsted-weight cotton that comes in 3 lovely shades of blue denim and feels heavenly in the hand.

Noro has arrived! We’ve gotten in more Taiyo and a new one, Chimiren, which is a cotton/silk/wool blend in those famous Noro colourways:

These have also arrived with a brand new Jenny Watson Noro book, “Flowers”, full of beeeautiful garments.

Last, but certainly not least, is our own Fleece Artist. We unpacked boxes of, need I say it?, GORGEOUS stuff. There’s a Rumple Scarf kit that makes 2 scarves, patterns included, and uses a Silk Rumple and Kid Mohair fibre held together. I can’t tell you how glorious this stuff is!
+
= GLORIOUS!

We also have a new Sea Vines vest kit, lovely and lacy for summer weather. Take a look.
More Maiden Hair (no product has been more perfectly named!), and a cute-as-pie child’s hoodie called MinO:

Come on in and take a look around. Fresh air and fresh yarn are calling for new projects to be cast on!
