We're all about cute this fall at Unwind. Here are some new and cute-as-pie felting kits.

And we have received our Dream in Color Classy Worsted Weight! The Tulips Baby sweater kits that call for this yarn are ready to go. Rocketry will be ready shortly.

And how could I forget....Cashmere by Hand Maiden. Gorgeous semi-solid colours, the softest hand--this is it folks. Knitting dreamland.

Well...more Blue Sky has arrived on Planet Unwind. This time it's the Alpaca Silk blend. The colours are stunning the yarn is so soft and fine. Perfect for light, luxurious sweaters.

We love this yarn already and it's only been here for 15 minutes. Can't wait for the Bulky--coming in for a landing in August. It comes in peace.

So far we have enjoyed the sock yarn in this line--Smooshy. It's veil-dyed which means the colours are subtle and there is no colour pooling when you knit it. It's been awhile! Lots of new and amazing stuff has arrived! Here are some highlights...

The enormously talented Kathryn (Fleece Artist) has done it again! Her Seawool is a blend of 70% merino wool and 30% seacell, made from sea weed. This is a wonderful sock yarn for all you sockies out there!

And to compliment your socks....how about a funky DPN needle roll! Created by Red Corset Designs (our own Angela). These are so much fun...

Celebrated my 34th birthday on Monday. Where did the time go? There's just not enough time in a day. Especially now that the new Hand Maiden silk is in. We got Great Big Sea AND Mini Maiden. Gorgeous....

We just got in some gorgeous 100% bamboo called Just Bamboo from Sirdar. It's so pretty--the colours are sophisticated and subtle. It's really soft and the patterns are great!! Check it out...

Bamboo is everywhere at Unwind! Here's the Regia bamboo sock yarn just in. Really really soft.

Wanna see what I made? Look everybody--I finished something!!! Aren't y'all proud of me.... : ) This is me taking a picture of the shawl I made. The pattern is one of Meghan's called The Bamboo Shoots Shawl. It's so pretty and I'll never stop wearing it.

Oh--and we got some great new yarn!!! Have you heard of the Vicki Howell Collection? It's made of the most amazing, alternative fibres. "Love" is made from bamboo and silk and it's the softest, sweetest yarn. "Craft" is organic cotton and milk fibre--who knew? The colours are bold and very retro. Take a peek.....

Tofutsies are in stock...this sock yarn is a crazy blend of washable wool, soysilk and something called Chitin--a fibre created from shrimp and crab shells. Weird--yes, but fun to knit with. The colours of this yarn are spectacular. It's like knitting a carnival.

More new stuff has arrived! Unwind welcomes Twilleys of Stamford's newest yarn, Freedom Spirit! Like Noro, it stripes itself but also knits up with a tweedy effect due to the multi-coloured plies of this yarn. It's 100% wool and only $6 a ball! The patterns are so cool...look at one example.
