Julie Asselin Boucle

Boucle is a looped yarn that knits up into a soft textured fabric. Famous for its cozy, yet sophisticated  vibe, boucle was popularised by Coco Chanel back in the 1940s.

These gorgeous hand-dyed colours were created by Julie Assselin.

It is the perfect yarn for light and chic accessories and garments. We have more colours here and Boucle in Leopard here.

• Worsted weight
• 70% Alpaca and 30% Highland Peruvian wool
• 219 metres / 240 yards /100 g
• Gauge: 16-20 sts = 4”
• Suggested needles/hooks 4 - 5mm
• Hand wash, lay flat to dry
• Hand dyed in Canada
