BC Garn - BC Garn Tussah Tweed

Beautiful, tweedy and versatile, Tussah Tweed is a stunning addition to Unwind!

This luxurious 100% silk yarn has fine tweedy flecks, giving your finished objects a wonderful depth. It's soft, almost cottony, but shiny like linen. Tussah silk is known for its strength, rich golden hue, and is humanely harvested from wild silk moths.

Tussah Tweed comes in many beautiful colours, and it is a very versatile yarn. It is wonderful for knitting, crochet, machine knitting, weaving, and embroidery. We're making Caidree's Suri Shirt with this yarn. We also like the FREE and summery Tip Top Tank Fine by Emily Bolduan. Shiny by Ririko is a deep V-neck pullover designed for Tussah Tweed.

When blocking, always use a detergent suitable for silk and/or use a little vinegar in the rinse water.
