A perfect class for your first cardigan!

Over three nights, you will complete Teatime Cardigan by Lisa Chemery.

We love this pattern because it's gender neutral, it's designed for kids from 3 months all the way to 10 years old, and it has an interesting stitch pattern.

You will learn: top-down sweater construction; how to knit a textured pattern; putting stitches on hold; picking up stitches; adding buttons; and making pockets.

Dates: Wednesday, June 26, July 10 and 24 from 7-9 PM (three nights)

Instructor:  Cathy Scheepers

Prerequisite skills: Knit and purl, knitting in the round, increasing and decreasing.

Price: $99, includes pattern, Teatime Cardigan by Lisa Chemery. Does not include materials listed below.

Materials:  Worsted weight yarn in sufficient quantity for the size you wish to make (we used Malabrigo Rios in the Frank Ochre colourway), 4.5mm circular needle 24" length (or size needed to match gauge) and one set of matching dpns for sleeves (or a long circular needle if using magic loop technique), 3.75mm circular needle 24" length and one set of matching dpns for sleeve cuffs (or a long circular needle if using magic loop technique), four stitch markers, a tapestry needle, 2 stitch holders or scrap yarn, and 5-10 buttons.
