Holst Garn - Holst Supersoft

Holst Supersoft is a non-superwash, blend of 50% Merino and 50% Shetland wool that is especially great in colourwork projects.  

This minimally processed yarn still has a sheepy scent. It contains a small amount of spinning oil, as such we strongly recommend washing and drying your swatch before measuring it. It will bloom and soften considerably when washed.

You can also hold this Danish yarn double to create a worsted/dk weight yarn.

The wool is from New Zealand and Australia - all from non-mulesing sources.

• Approximately 287 meters/314 yards per 50 gram
• Gauge  25 stitches = 10 cm/4 inches on 3-3.5 mm/US 2.5-4
• Hand or machine wash on a cold delicate wool cycle.

Note: Holst Garn Supersoft contains a bit of spinning oil and excess dye. The oil and excess dye will disappear at the first wash - and the yarn will bloom and become softer.
