Arne & Carlos Socks & More 4 Ply

Arne & Carlos comes in self-patterning colours that mimic traditional Norwegian motifs. This sock yarn is machine washable and includes some nylon for strength, making it easy to care for and amazing to wear! The full story about the production of their first yarn is here on their blog.

Four single plies are twisted together to create the ideal weight and durability for hand-knit socks. One 100 gram skein is enough to knit a standard pair of adult sized socks. For patterns, we recommend a vanilla (ie plain) sock pattern like Summer Lee's FREE I'm So Basic sock pattern.

Machine washable at 40° C (100° F) and can be machine dried on low heat.

• Knitting needle size: 2.0-3.0mm (US 1-3)
• Knitting gauge: 30sts = 10cm (4") in stockinette stitch
• Crochet hook size: 2.25-3.5mm (US B-1 to E-4)
• Crochet gauge: 26-28 sts = 10cm (4") in single crochet
