Make a noble Canada Goose with our master amigurumist, Chris!
We love this pattern because it covers a number of amigurumi techniques and is an iconic symbol of Canada.
You will learn: how to read a pattern, how to change colours, how to attach new yarn, amigurumi construction, and how to make an adorable stuffie!
Dates: Saturday, September 26 and October 3 from 1 -3 PM (two dates)
Instructor: Chris
Prerequisite skills: single crochet, magic ring (or a substitute), a general idea of how to sew crochet pieces together
Registration fee includes the pattern, safety eyes and stuffing. The price does not include materials listed below.
Materials*:
- Worsted weight yarn in four colours (Chris used Estelle Sudz for our store sample) in desired colours, scraps are good.
- 3mm crochet hook (Note: you are using a much smaller hook than your yarn might suggest. This ensures that the stitches are small and the stuffing doesn't show through.)
- Split ring or locking stitch markers, scissors
