Learn stranded knitting techniques while knitting these cosy Canada Mitts - pattern by Galt House of Yarn. In this beginner colourwork class, you will learn how to work with two strands of yarn, how to carry floats, and how to tension your colourwork projects. All that's required to take this class is a knowledge of knit, purl, and knitting in the round.

Dates: Tuesday, November 17 and December 1 (two nights)

Time: 7 - 9 PM

Prerequisite skills: Students MUST know how to knit and purl in the round before the class starts. 

Materials: Please bring or plan to purchase two contrasting colours of sport weight yarn and 3mm needles

HOMEWORK: Please complete the cuff of at least one mitten before the start of class. With your main colour, CO 56 sts and join in the round. Work [K2 P2] ribbing for 4”. Set Up Round: [K8, m1L] around. (63 st)
