Amanda says, "I worked at a yarn store for many years (Romni Wools in Toronto and Handknit Yarn Studio in Hamilton) and colour is one of those things that can be really intimidating for knitters and crocheters, especially when picking out colours for striped, fair-isle, or colour-blocked projects."
In this workshop participants learn about colour interactions and choosing colours (plus some tips and tricks for making palettes sing). Participants are encouraged to bring a pattern or a yarn they wish to use and get input on colour choices and pairings.
There is no knitting or crocheting in the workshop, get ready for a bit of collage, as well as yarn wrapping and chatting about colour with Amanda Rataj.
