Embroidery on Knits with Julie Crawford

Embellish your knitwear with beautiful embroidery stitches, guided by the expert, Julie Crawford.

Julie has been creating sweet stitch designs for knitted textiles for many years and she is happy to pass on some of her wisdom and tricks of the trade to you.

In this workshop you will learn several embroidery stitches suitable for knitwear. Talk through supplies, techniques and pattern interpretation while you stitch a Knitted Bliss floral motif.

Students should bring in a knit or crocheted swatch or hat to embroider.

Prerequisite skills: None! No embroidery experience necessary!

Materials included with the class: a Knitted Bliss embroidery pattern and template, four colours of embroidery thread, stabilizer, embroidery needles.

Not included: Please bring a knit or crocheted swatch or hat to embroider.
