Expand your crochet skills with a new technique!
Tunisian crochet uses an elongated hook. This unique stitching technique has made a resurgence. It is different than knitting or crochet, though often appears to be a mix of the two.
Skills learned: how to hold a Tunisian hook; working the foundation row; the Tunisian simple, knit and purl stitches; and binding off
Dates: Wednesday, April 15 and 22 from 7 - 9 PM (two sessions)
Instructor: April
Prerequisite skills: Experience in either knitting or crochet will make this easier to pick up, particularly an understanding of chain stitch and single crochet
Materials included with the class: Yarn to use in the class, plus one ball of Estelle Sudz cotton in your choice of colours and a 6.5mm Tunisian Crochet Hook and a pattern for you to take home.
