Are you ready for your first shawl?
Make Jaunty with Allana! We love this pattern because once you get the rhythm of Half-Fishermen's Rib it is a meditative knit.
the rhythmic stitch pattern offers a soothing flow, while the simple construction and adaptable sizing means you can use what you’ve got.”
This shallow triangular design is knit sideways, so you can make it as large or as small as you wish. This scarf style is a great way to either use up all your yarn or knit with what you have. Just make sure you leave enough yarn to work all the decreases.
The pattern includes directions for multiple sizes using different yarn weights. We used Lang Infinity for our colourful store sample. Allana used Sandnes Poppy for her blue version.
You will learn: long tail cast on, increases and decreases, Half-Fishermen’s Rib, i-cord edging, and grafting two i-cords together.
