The Merino/Yak blend has a very special heathered effect when dyed, created by the natural color of undyed yak. We developed Mélange N.1 color palette with colorwork projects in mind.
Yaks have long lived together with people on the Tibetan plateau, at freezing temperatures and at an altitude above 3.000 m. The coat hair of a yak protects the animal’s body from the extreme cold of the plateaus and serves as an excellent material that has both heat retention properties and elasticity.
This is the ultimate cozy yarn, this is our new favourite base for sweater weather, its woolly goodness will feel like a warm hug from a dear friend.
