Each month we receive a limited edition colourway as part of the Koigu Collector's Club. We get one batch (approx. twenty skeins) of KPPPM in the unique colourway, and that's it! Be sure to purchase soon, so you don't miss out.
Pantone named Mocha Mousse the colour of 2025, and what better way to celebrate brown being back in fashion than a limited edition colourway. Inspired by our favourite coffees and chocolates, this collector colour has rich brown stripes and speckles on a warm, creamy caramel background.
Koigu Painter's Palette Premium Merino (KPPPM) is spun from the finest merino sheep in the world and hand painted in stunning, one-of-a-kind colourways. Plied for durability, this lightweight wool is soft, silky, and retains the natural elasticity of merino.
This incredible, hand-painted, 100% Merino wool fingering weight yarn is ideal for everything from hand knitting and crochet, to machine knitting, weaving and needlework. It offers a vast range of variegated shades that lend themselves to absolutely stunning projects such as shawls, scarves & socks.
The beauty of hand dyed yarn is that each hank is a unique work of art and no two are exactly the same. This does mean that colours can vary even within the same batch. We recommend that you buy enough yarn for your entire project at one time. Alternate skeins as you work to give an overall blended effect.
We love using Koigu in slipped stitches, such as the classic Churchmouse Linen Stitch Scarf or the new Colour Cocktail Shawl by Taiu Landra (pictured here).
For crochet we suggest Juniper Cowl by Toni Lipsey. It's a fun and breezy make for summer days.
