You know the basics, now it's time to learn to knit a hat! This is an excellent follow-up to our learn to knit class.

Over the course of this two night class, you will complete the Toast Hat by Tin Can Knits. This textured hat would make a great gift!

We love this pattern because it is sized from baby to extra large adult. (Pro tip: If you are a slow knitter, we suggest that you make the baby size for this class.)

You will learn:

  • How to knit in the round, including how to join your yarn without twisting;
  • How to read a pattern;
  • Basic decreases;
  • And weaving in ends.

Dates: Tuesday, October 28 and November 11 (takes place over two nights)

Time: 7-9 PM

Instructor: Cathy

Prerequisite skills: Knit and purl

Registration fee includes the pattern by Tin Can Knits, but does not include materials listed below.

Materials:

  • Check the pattern page here to choose the size of hat you are making and the yardage required. (Pro tip: If you are a slow knitter, we suggest that you make the baby size for this class.)
