Torzal transforms Malabrigo's signature colourways through a unique two-ply construction that creates depth, movement, and an organic, handspun-inspired look.
This two-ply DK/SPORT-weight yarn, made from pure Superwash Merino wool. The yarn is dyed in the wool and then plied together, allowing colour to become part of every strand.
Then two plies of the same signature Malabrigo colourway are spun together, but because each dyed strand is unique, they never line up exactly the same way. As they twist around one another, they create gentle shifts of colour, light, and texture that continue throughout the skein. The result is subtle but full of movement, with the organic character of handspun yarn while remaining beautifully consistent to knit or crochet.
And because those dyed fibers twist together differently every time, no two Torzal skeins are exactly alike. Even within the same colourway, each skein reveals its own balance of colours and transitions, making every project uniquely yours.
