Over the course of this class, you will complete Matisse Sweater, a fun and sweet top-down baby sweater.

We love this pattern because it's a great introduction to stranded colourwork, and it's designed for kids from newborn to 8 years old.

You will learn: Stranded colourwork, Yoked increases; How to knit a textured pattern; Putting stitches on hold; And weaving in ends.

Dates: Wednesday, June 3 and 17 from 7-9 PM (two nights)

Prerequisite skills: Knit and purl, knitting in the round

Registration includes the pattern, Matisse Sweater by OGE Knitwear. Registration does not include materials listed below.

Materials: Two colours of DK weight yarn in sufficient quantity for the size you wish to make - we used Estelle Double Knit for our main colour and Lang Merino 120 Degrade for our contrast. Plus 3.75mm and 4mm circular needles (40 cm long) and 4mm dpns or longer circular needle for magic loop method for sleeves. Plus stitch markers, holders / waste yarn, tapestry needle.
