Sandnes Garn - Sandnes Garn Duo in Colours

Sandnes Duo is a soft blend of cotton and merino. It has the look and feel of cotton, with bouncy merino for memory. Machine washable, this yarn is perfect for garments for the whole family. Though we're thinking of makes for ourselves from Hana by Ana D (in the upcoming Laine Let's Crochet Issue 2), Movement Tee by Lily Kate France, or Staffin Lite by Rebecca Clow (for our upcoming Knit Along).

Sandnes Garn has guaranteed that the wool used in their yarn does not come from sheep that have been subjected to mulesing.

• 55% Merino wool | 45% cotton
• Yardage/Meterage: 115m/50g
• Knitting gauge: 20-22 stitches/4 inches on 3.5 - 4mm needles
• Care: For best results, hand wash and dry flat. For machine washing, it's recommended that all wool blend garments be washed separately on a wool program, to ensure the gentlest treatment. Due to the unique absorbency of the merino wool, it is important to centrifuge hand-knitted garments well before drying  them on a flat surface, preferably on top of a towel. Never use a laundry bag when washing hand-knitted wool garments. This creates friction that can cause the garment to felt.
