We love this pattern because it is unisex and generously sized (from 39 - 62"). The unique side-to-side construction creates a knit-like fabric. So much so, that customers have argued with me in the store about whether our sample, modeled here by Anjali, was actually knit.

If you haven't tried making a crocheted sweater yet, join April and get ready to learn!

You will learn: Side-to-side construction, seaming, decreasing/increasing, short rows, blocking, adding ribbing/working perpendicular to an edge (applied ribbing), how to read an intermediate pattern, and more!

Dates: Tuesday, October 20, November 10, November 24 and December 8

Time: 7 - 9 PM

Prerequisite skills: chain stitch, single crochet, double crochet, plus an understanding of crochet stitch anatomy

Registration fee includes the pattern. The price does not include materials listed below.

Materials*:

Check the pattern page here to choose the size of sweater you are making and the yardage required.
Sport or DK weight yarn in the amount for your sweater size. April used Drops Soft Tweed for our sample.
4mm crochet hook, depending on your gauge. (See below for gauge homework!)
A tapestry needle

Homework:

Please check the gauge before you start! Bring your gauge swatch to the first class. 20 sts and 10 rows in double crochet (dc) to measure 10x10cm or 4x4in using 4mm hook, or size required to obtain the gauge.
