A perfect class for your first sweater!
Over the course of this class, you will complete Wee Envelope, a fun and sweet seamless baby sweater.
We love this pattern because it's gender neutral, it's designed for kids from 3 months all the way to 4 years old, and the construction is unique. (The yoke is worked sideways, you start in one piece beginning at the left cuff.)
You will learn: how to pick up stitches; i-cord buttonholes; putting stitches on hold; and weaving in ends.
Dates: Wednesday, June 10 and 24, and July 8 from 1 - 3 PM (three sessions)
Instructor: Cathy
Prerequisite skills: Knit and purl, knitting in the round using double points or magic loop.
Workshop includes the pattern Wee Envelope by Ysolda Teague.
Materials not included: Please bring or purchase sport weight yarn in sufficient quantity for the size you wish to make (we recommend Drops Baby Merino), 3.5mm dpns or circulars for Magic Loop and 3.5mm 16” / 40cm circular, as well as stitch markers, scrap yarn, and four ½” / 12mm buttons.
