We love this pattern because it is unisex and no sleeves, which means no sleeve island!
You will learn: Cables, short rows, top-down construction, picking-up stitches, decreasing/increasing in pattern, blocking

Prerequisite skills: experience knitting in the round.

Materials:
- Check the pattern page here to choose the size of sweater you are making and the yardage required.
- Worsted weight (or a mohair silk yarn held with fingering weight merino) in the amount for your sweater size. Cathy used Lang Yak for our sample, modeled here by Aileen.
- 4.5 mm circular needles (80 or 100 cm).
- 4 mm circular needles (60 and 80 or 100 cm).
- Cable needle
- A tapestry needle
Homework:
- Please check the gauge before you start! Bring your gauge swatch to the first class.
- 18 stitches and 28 rows = 4 inches/10cm in ribbing (k3, p2) after washing and blocking.
