Welcome to the woolly world of sock knitting with this cuff down sock class.  In this class, we’ll walk you through the construction of a sock. You will learn how to: work from the cuff down to the heel; turn a heel; create a gusset; knit the toe decreases; and kitchener stitch.

Skills learned: knitting in the round, slipped stitches, picking up stitches, short rows, decreases, Kitchener stitch

Date: Wednesday, October 19 and November 2 (two nights)

Prerequisite skills: Knit, purl, increases, decreases, and how to knit in the round

Materials: (not included) Worsted weight yarn, 3.75mm needles (either double pointed or 32” circular for magic loop), darning needle, stitch marker

All attendees will be required to wear a mask.
