Get ready to leave your double-pointed needles behind! Learn to knit in the round using a single circular needle and the magic loop technique. Great for small circumference knitting, such as socks, sleeves, the tops of hats, mittens and more.
Students will work on a pair of fingerless mitts as they practice this flexible circular knitting technique.
Skills learned: the Magic Loop technique, including how to knit a smaller circumference circle. You will use both knit and purl stitches to make a pair of fingerless mitts.

Prerequisite skills: Experience knitting in the round, cast on, bind off, knit and purl
Materials: one skein (200m) of worsted weight yarn, and a 4mm 32” circular needle
