Learn stranded knitting techniques while knitting a festive Woodland Stocking. In this beginner colourwork class, you will learn how to work with two strands of yarn, how to carry floats, and how to tension your colourwork projects. All that's required to take this class is a knowledge of knit, purl, and knitting in the round.

Dates: Thursday, October 9, 23 and November 6 (three afternoons)
Time: 1 - 3 PM

Prerequisite skills: Students MUST know how to knit and purl in the round.
Materials: Please bring or plan to purchase two contrasting colours of worsted weight yarn - 140m of the Main Colour and 190m of the Contrast Colour. Cathy used Haynes Creek Aran for our store Stocking. Plus the following tools: 4 mm 12” circular needles, 4mm double pointed needles, or long enough needles for you to use the magic loop, THREE stitch markers, scrap yarn, and a tapestry needle.
