Make a Hat Day Knit

September 15 is Make a Hat day.

To celebrate this holiday, join Cathy to knit a hat! This class is FREE to anyone who has registered for a class in 2025.

Date: Monday, September 15 from 10 - 12

Instructor: Cathy

Prerequisite skills: This is a beginner-friendly class. Students must know how to knit, purl, cast on and join in the round using either dpns or magic loop.

We will provide copy of the pattern by Justyna Lorkowska, please bring or plan to purchase the materials listed below.

Materials:

One skein of Malabrigo Rasta (or another Super Bulky Yarn)
8mm 40cm/16” circular and needles for small circumference at crown (double-pointed needles or longer needles for magic loop)
6.5mm dpns or 40cm/16” circular needles
stitch marker, tapestry needle for weaving, pompom (optional).
