Learn stranded knitting techniques while knitting these cosy mittens. In this beginner colourwork class, you will learn how to work with two strands of yarn, how to carry floats, and how to tension your colourwork projects. All that's required to take this class is a knowledge of knit, purl, and knitting in the round.

Dates: Tuesday, December 2 and 16 (two nights)
Time: 7 - 9 PM

Prerequisite skills: Students MUST know how to knit and purl in the round before the class starts.
Materials: Please bring or plan to purchase two contrasting colours of DK weight yarn and the needles requires for the size of mittens you wish to make. See the pattern here for details.
HOMEWORK: Please complete the cuff of at least one mitten before the start of class.
