Timber Yarns - Timber Yarns Twin Sock

Proudly Canadian and beautifully bold, Timber Yarns creates gorgeous self-striping twin socks.

We are thrilled to carry this yarn. Heather and Davis of Timber Yarns are new grandparents. In a move towards retirement, they have pulled back from vending at shows, making it hard to see their stunning colours in person. They only sell to a few Canadian yarn shops, and thanks to the enthusiasm of the "Unwind army" (as Heather would say) they were convinced to add us to their roster.

• Two single skeins hand dyed at the same time for matching socks (pro tip: start at the same end of each skein)
• Fingering weight
• 80% superwash Merino / 20% nylon blend
• Approximately 50g + 50g / 200m + 200m for a total of 400m
• Gently hand wash in cold water and lay flat to dry. Colours may bleed use a few colour catchers in your first hand wash to see.
• Hand-dyed in Conestogo, Ontario 

The sample swatches in each photo were knit with 2.5 mm needles over 70 stitches.

All yarns are hand dyed in a smoke-free, pet friendly environment. Great care is taken when photographing to represent the colour accurately however, the colour may vary on your device. Full disclosure the teals in the Unwind colourway are hard to capture. The photo with multiple skeins is probably the most accurate on my device.
